Today, I recorded eac output separately so I can play around with the relative mix of the two. But something strange happens on playback. The two tracks get progressively out-of-sync with one another. If I stop and restart the transport, they're still out of sync. But if I stop the transport, reposition the playback head (by clicking in the ruler), and restart the transport, they're in sync again, even if I reposition it in the same place. I'm using jack-0.74.1, Ardour/GTK 0.376.0 running with libardour 0.682.0 (latest CVS) More system specs: linux-2.4.20 with ll patches. Dual Athlon 2200+, SCSI, Terratec ews88MT, alsa-0.9.3c (maybe this is a bit old now?). bye John ------------------------------------------------------- This SF.Net email sponsored by: Free pre-built ASP.NET sites including Data Reports, E-commerce, Portals, and Forums are available now.
