Hi. I tried to compile the CVS version, but I get the same results... The 
backtrace is the same like the one I sent you. Do you have any idea what 
could be wrong? Can I provide you with some more debug info? Can't it be 
somehow connected with the LOCALE settings? When I first run ardour, I 
got those messages:

So, I tried 'export LC_ALL=en_US', but then when I launch ardour I get the 
crash I've already described couple of days ago:
