Can SMPTE run over midi wire? I assume not but don't know. If yes, then perhaps SMPTE over midi wire to a jlcooper dataSYNC2 midi input to its SMPTE output to tascam dm-24 SMPTE input. Well, that's probably a stupid thought. Why would the datasync2 know what to do with SMPTE coming across midi wire? Option 2 is a second audio card with analog output. Would word clock between the rme9652 and the second audio card be required? I imagine it would be. If not, this would be my solution albeit not entirely diserable because it'll use another pci slot but that's trivial. Option 3 is a request for suggestions! ron __________________________________ Do you Yahoo!? Yahoo!
