I am paying no attention to fader settings and getting what sound like good results. Levels in the export file appear very reasonable inside of Audacity. I wouldn't know how to say they are right, but they look good. Others should try this one out if you need to do exports. The export dialog box is much better now. My only input might be to have a default file name, but other than that it's a big, big step in the right direction. The options would take a serious tester days to go through! I did have a route to my outputs on the two tracks I exported and did not hear anything during the export, so that appears fixed, assuming I understood Jesse's comment earlier.
