I left dither at "none". The audio is a double drum kit and keyboard bass live in a room with two sm81 small condesor mics and a u87. The point being that I reviewed the quality of the full spectrum; cymbals to bass. The person on the back couch couldn't tell which source he was hearing. Maybe I'll find some time to experiment with the dither shapes. What's the theory, concept or objective of triangular vs shaped noise? I didn't carefully view the exported peak files but I think Jesse got the export gain problem under control.
