but you didn't use the secret rabbit. it only has work to do when you
change the sample rate. bit width reduction is handled by
dithering. to test SRC, you need to record at 48kHz, then export at
44.1kHz (for example).

this is unimplemented at this time, waiting for either steve or i to
add dither options to the low level code. right now, we always do the
same kind of dithering when exporting in a way that involves a bit
width reduction.
