Date: Mon, 3 Nov 2003 19:22:37 -0500 Okay, I start with a new sesssion, define two tracks and get mixers for each. I click on input and get a choice of Edit, disconnect in1 in2 so I choose in1 for one, in2 for the other mixer. However, these do not stick - I select in1 for example, then when I click on them again my selection is not shown. If I check Edit it shows the ins with alsa_pcm:capture_1 for 1 and alsa_pcm:capture_2 for in2. I hit the record buttons, the press play from head and all I get is a what sounds like a metronome. To test this I'm trying to record from a CD. I'm playing the CD with XMMS. I'm missing something obvious here. What is it. Thanks. You can do the same in the > mixer window but I find it easier to use the single strip. ------------------------------------------------------- This SF.net email is sponsored by: SF.net Giveback Program.
