Convolution is a transformation done on two functions that kinda
measures how much they overlap. More or less, it takes two functions and
smears them together.

The continuous convolution integral is defined as:

	       inf
	        /
	       |
   f(t)*g(t) = | f(tau)g(t - tau) d(tau)
	       |
	      /
	      -inf

(There's an analogous discrete version used in probability theory)

Convolution has all kinds of nice properties that make it interesting,
but it's mostly the blending that makes it useful.

A Pope has a Water Cannon. It is a Water Cannon.
He fires Holy-Water from it. It is a Holy-Water Cannon.
He Blesses it. It is a Holy Holy-Water Cannon.
He Blesses the Hell out of it. It is a Wholly Holy Holy-Water Cannon.
He has it pierced. It is a Holey Wholly Holy Holy-Water Cannon.
He makes it official. It is a Canon Holey Wholly Holy Holy-Water Cannon.
Batman and Robin arrive. He shoots them.
