Cool!  They have lots of really interesting info up there.  I'm intrigued
by a few things, but all in all, this looks like a feasible approach.

I wonder - does any one have access to the Altiverb manual?  There's
mention in the PDFs of a scintillatingly titled section about doing IRs
with 88.2kHz and higher sampling rates. ::-)

The sine wave sweep idea is a pretty clever way around generating a good
dealta function.  I'll have to check out brutefir at some point and see
if I can mess around with this.  This seems like a really appealing
project to me.  We'll see if I can get some IRs for my basement and
garage, lol.
