Subject: [Ardour-users] about Hoontech soundcard with Jack/Ardour
Date: Tue, 14 Oct 2003 17:10:31 +0200
Hi all,
I search more information to get better performance with an
Hoontech soundcard and Ardour/Linux.
My system is
_P4 2.6 Ghz, 512 M RAM,
_Hoontech DSP 3000 (8 in + 8 out - 24bits/96kHz) with
ice1712 chipset.
_Debian (sarge) and 2.4.22 kernel with low-latency capabilities
_and at this time, Ardour 0.9beta3-6, Jack 0.75.0-2.
Which command line will invoke jackd correctly? something like
jackd -R -d alsa --d ice1712 -r 96000 -H , maybe ?
But when --d ice1712 used with -R option Jack don't start !??
Can someone point me to good links :)
Thank you
