What you should do is to create a new Playlist on the track before
you record each additional take.  Do this with the 'p' button
in the track button area in the editor.  The new playlist names
are the original trackname followed by .# successively.  To switch
that track to use another playlist pick the Choose item from the
same popup menu.

Right now, Choose lists all the playlists across all tracks, but
I think we will organize that menu to show the playlists tied
to that track first.
