I was playing back 20 tracks and recording a further 10 ( to the same drive). Funny I didnt have a problem after this and recorded a further 5 tracks while playing back 30. Maybe if the disc write was a bit more frequent this would not happen? Is the disc write cycle time configureable? I'm running Ardour/GTK 0.380.0 running with libardour 0.686.2. . I also had a "CRITICAL: UI request Pool out of memory message -recompile with a larger size message" at one stage (which I forgot to mention). BTW the performance I'm getting so far with this ordinary hardware (Celeron 800 with STAudio C-port) surpasses anything Ive been able to acheive on Win98 (which might not be saying much :) Lawrie ------------------------------------------------------- This sf.net email is sponsored by:ThinkGeek Welcome to geek heaven. http://thinkgeek.com/sf _______________________________________________ Ardour-users mailing list Ardour-users@lists.sourceforge.net https://lists.sourceforge.net/lists/listinfo/ardour-users
