I have a friend who's likes Cubase and one of the really nice features 
is if your computer loses power(or gets power cycled) you can still 
recover the audio file.  I was wondering if Ardour can do that or be 
configured to do that?

I ran a little test and found out if I just killed Ardour during the 
recording process I could retrieve the audio file from that session with 
no problems but if I power cycled my computer my audio file turned into 
a nasty mono 8bit 8000khz piece of static.
