I'm ashamed to admit it but the way I've learnt GTK in the past is to
create a trivial glade project and look at the source it generates.

The docs at http://developer.gnome.org/doc/API/2.0/gtk/index.html are
good, but its often hard to find where to start.

Nice IDEA BTW, if you can keep all the code in a single .c and .h file it
should be easy to add it to jack-rack for eg.
