Don't know. 

I tried to building a new tarball, but `make distcheck' failed.
Something broke recently.  It builds from CVS, but not from a tarball,
even configuring `--without-nls'.

Making all in po

Although ru.po exists in CVS, but it is not being distributed.  If
this were a normal Makefile.am, I'd just add an EXTRA_DIST for it.

Anyone know how to fix a generated gettext Makefile?
