You can get a really bizarre-sounding effect muting only the mid band. :-) I think I want the Solo button to operate as a separate toggle, not a third radio button. That way, the user can Solo each band in turn, listening in both active and bypass modes. Of course, this can be done already by muting the other two bands, it's just more convenient. With Solo, I don't think we need a Mute button, as long as Solo works correctly for multiple bands, passing all soloed bands. Since there would be only two radio buttons left (Active and Bypass), it seems better to have only one (Bypass), that toggles off and on like the main Bypass. I like the fact that these per-band Bypass buttons still display the spectrum, even when the compressor is not active. Does it bypass the EQ too, or only compression? Nice work from both Jan and Steve to make this happen.
