Older versions used 20% cpu on my P4, the later beta's 35% not counting the increase afterwards. If you say that only affects P4 machines then the low end machines are not at risk. Personly I didn't use jamin much on my P3-500 because it used about 65% cpu and xruns were difficult to avoid. It seems to me that the lowest usable machine is now above 1Ghz. If you can wait a few days for the 0.95 release, in the weekend I will setup the P4 machine to run with oprofile. The next two day's I can't afford to do drastic things on that machine. -- Greetings, Michiel Broek mbroek@mbse.dds.nl or Fidonet 2:280/2802 to Michiel Broek. ------------------------------------------------------- SF email is sponsored by - The IT Product Guide Read honest & candid reviews on hundreds of IT Products from real users.
