Hi,
Those kernels, using xmms will cause a complete
hang within 15-25 minutes of use, Alt-Sys Rq included.
Tried with and without agpgart.
Hardware: es1371, TNT, nvidia Xserver.
Tested:
2.3.42: Sound without X goes on for at least hours
(dumping .au-files to /dev/audio)
2.3.42: X without xmms never hangs.
2.3.39 X and xmms, no problems ever.
2.2.14 (and less), no problems ever.
System: SMP, Dual Pentium III (450).
Got linux-2.3.42-tar.bz2 from kernel.org to elimintate
patching-mistakes.
