Question about kernel xtime initialisation

    I have a question about the initialisation of 'xtime'. Is anyone aware of
    any part of the kernel relying on 'xtime' being initialised in time_init() ?

    The reason I ask is that I want to initialise it later in the kernel, via
    the initcall stuff.
