    Hello all,

Just upgraded to 2.3.51 earlier today. In the course of plugging
in a suggestion from Linus concerning shmget errors (mounting shm file
system DID fix that problem) I noticed a rather strange anomoly. File
systems which use to NOT show up with "df" now do show up with wierd numbers.

    ] [root@alcove mhw]# df

    ] /dev/sda1 132207 64192 61189 51% /

    ] /dev/sdc1 2043371 1814471 123275 94% /home
    ] /dev/sdb1 1988924 1841629 44481 98% /mnt1
    ] /dev/sda5 1035660 655200 327852 67% /usr

    ] none 4294967295 4294967295 0 100% /dev/pts
    ] none 4294967295 4294967295 0 100% /proc/bus/usb
    ] none 4294967295 4294967295 0 100% /devfs
    ] none 4194304 48 4194256 0% /var/shm
    ] automount(pid2356) 4294967295 4294967295 0 100% /mnt/banshee
    ] automount(pid2344) 4294967295 4294967295 0 100% /mnt/barren
    ] automount(pid2336) 4294967295 4294967295 0 100% /mnt/misc
    ] automount(pid2394) 4294967295 4294967295 0 100% /mnt/wittsend
    ] automount(pid2368) 4294967295 4294967295 0 100% /mnt/longhall
    ] automount(pid2380) 4294967295 4294967295 0 100% /mnt/toolroom
    ] [root@alcove mhw]#

Before (2.3.50 and earlier) this would never have shown the "none"
    entries or the "automount" entries.

BTW... Is it just me or does it seem like we've recently aquired
a lot of new "none" type file systems (pts, usbfs, devfs, shm, etc)? I
know proc and pts have been around for a while, it just seems like I've
had to add a bunch of new ones to fstab in the last couple of months. Is
this a new paradgm to add special purpose file systems?

            Mike
