    1. I did a loopback NFS mount:

    > mount rpppc2:/disk1 /tmp/mnt
    > mount
    /dev/hda3 on / type ext2 (rw)
none on /proc type proc (rw)
    /dev/hda1 on /boot type ext2 (rw)
none on /dev/pts type devpts (rw,gid=5,mode=620)
    /dev/hdc2 on /disk2 type ext2 (rw)
none on /var/shm type shm (rw)
    automount(pid567) on /home type autofs (rw,fd=5,pgrp=567,minproto=2,maxproto=3)
    automount(pid565) on /user type autofs (rw,fd=5,pgrp=565,minproto=2,maxproto=3)
    rpppc2:/disk1 on /tmp/mnt type nfs (rw,addr=139.85.108.141)

    Now test lock:

    >/usr/src/redhat/BUILD/nfs-utils-0.1.6/tools/locktest]$ testlk /tmp/mnt/nbecker/.emacs
    fcntl: No locks available

    **It doesn't work.**

    This is 2.3.99-pre2, i686, NFSv2.

    ps shows lockd running.

    nfs-utils is 0.1.6.
