    That EIP offset is way out if line, it is probably in a module
    somewhere. It does not help that klogd has tried to convert the EIP
    and got it wrong. Could you install the current modutils and
    ksymoops[*], change /etc/rc.d/init.d/syslog to start "klogd -x", reboot
    and reproduce the problem.
