    Well, actually me thinks that this is intentional and very considerate by
    the author: it spares Linus to answer the protest emails of those clueless
    lusers which didn't realize it was a hoax...

    PS. Also it was not a very inspired hoax, it was surely better than most
      of those other hoaxes and virus warnings floating around. Give at least
