    There is a BIOS available for the Abit BP6 which allows you to disable the
    resource allocation for the HPT366 controller. It was never released as a
    production BIOS, however remains available as a beta BIOS.

    I suggest flashing a current, production (eg rev QQ) if this is the case.

    Also, ensure IRQ sharing is enabled in the config.
