Patches for CONFIG_KALLSYMS against kernel 2.3.99-pre6-5 are in
    ftp://ftp.ocs.com.au/pub/modutils/v2.3 (slow), faster mirror at
    ftp://ftp.kernel.org/pub/linux/utils/kernel/modutils/v2.3

    patch-2.3-99-pre6-5-kallsyms.bz2
            Basic CONFIG_KALLSYMS patch

    patch-2.3-99-pre6-5-kallsyms-kdb-v1.0.bz2
SGI's kdb upgraded to 2.3.99-pre6-5 and reworked to use
kallsyms, this includes the kallsyms patch.

Both patches need modutils >= 2.3.11. The kallsyms patch should work
on any 32 bit arch, but has only been tested on ix86. kdb is only
supported on ix86. The modutils 2.3.11 changes to support kallsyms
have not been tested on any 64 bit arch yet, anybody got a spare IA64
or Sparc 64 they are not using ;)?
