    Hello,

we have a big problem with kernel 2.2.14. Under heavy database load the kernel
    oopses with the following message:

    ----snap

    Maschine's hardware:
    Dual PIII 550 MHz
    DPT I2O RAID
    512 MB RAM
    2 x 9,1 GB HD and 512 MB swap

Running RH 6.1 and adabas 11

It does NOT occur when kernel is not compliled for SMP and is also does NOT occur when we put more RAM into this maschine. But after all memory is used it happens again. So as long as no swap is needed and kernel is compliled only for one CPU everything works fine.

It does not seem to be a hardware problem, because a totally different maschine shows the same result.
We testet serveral preferences up to kernel 2.2.15-pre18.

    Anyone an idea ?
