    Could you possibly test with ttcp and use its debug parameter -d on the
    Linux side. You should get the debug output in the system logs.

    Check that you have:

    kern.* /var/log/messages

    or something similar in your /etc/syslog.conf. If not then you can
    add a specific line like:

    kern.debug /var/log/kernel-debug

    and restart syslog service for the changes to take effect. This is to
    elimate the chance that prune_queue is called (and returns -1) because of
    the difference between advertised window and what can actually be
    received. Of course this shouldn't matter with transfers from Linux to
    Solaris (have such results been shown?).
