I just crashed both my -pre8 systems. I have a Sparc IPX running the NFS
kernel server (it's Debian potato and up-to-date there) which I wanted to
use as a headless filesystem for my network. Anyway, I have an x86 machine
running the older userland NFS server which both machines can mount just
    fine.

Anyway, on both machines I had a complete console lockup, all SSH
connections froze and new ones couldn't be established, but I could still
    ping the machines.
