I have to admit that when I saw the 2.4.x in the tar ball's name I went
straight for it like a beeline. I had tested in the past the 2.3.99preX
kernels but went back to 2.2.x when I encountered problems with the NFS
services. However since this new kernel now supports my SBLive sound card
natively (no need for ALSA anymore) I have decided to use it exclusively on my
workstations in the office and at home. I will post any problems I encounter
to this list. Or if there is an alternative place where I can post them
instead just let me know.
