    Dear Andre Hedrick,

I read you recent discussion (in March) with A.Srinath Reddy about
    his CD-ROM giving the message:

VFS: Disk change detected on device ide0(3,64)

You claimed that this was due to a kernel bug that was fixed in
2.3.* and also fixed in 2.2.14 or 1.1.15pre. I have the
same problem and just updated to kernel-2.2.14-6.6.1 (from Red Hat)
and the problem persists. Do I need something newer? What,
    more precisely *is* the problem?

I tried your E-mail, andre@suse.com, but it just bounced...

    Sincerely,

    Brett van de Sande
