    Hi,

    I looked at net/socket.c and noticed a rather unusual way of protecting
    the array of registered protocol families against writers
    (sock_register/unregister()) and readers - sock_create(). Is there a
    reason why one can't just use read/write spinlocks for this?

    Regards,
    Tigran
