In 2.4.0-test5 I sometimes see

rpciod: active tasks at shutdown ?!

during shutdown while never been mounted from.
So, that message might be a different issue: it is not unique
to 2.4.0-test6-pre5 and the shutdown/fork() problem I reported before.
