2.4.0-test9-pre4 VM unbalanced?

      Hi, all. I've just brought up a 2.4.0-test kernel for the first time
    on this box (dual PIII with 1 GiB RAM), and I get the following
    message:
    Warning - running *really* short on DMA buffers

    With 1 GiB surely this shouldn't happen?!? This is 2.4.0-test9-pre4.
