question : make bzImage

    Hi,
     I want to build the kernel
     These are the following steps what I am doing:
     In /usr/src/linux
     make config
     make dep
     make bzImage

     while make bzImage , I get many errors under
    diffirent
     drivers ex: sound, net, char
      Ex: undefined reference in hfmodem driver
      same errors for sound & video drivers.

     How should I solve this & build kernel
